New Delhi: Bollywood star Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly to ensure that everyone reaches their home during the COVID-19 crisis. The ‘Dabbang’ actor is making headlines for all the good reasons and has helped lakhs of people including workers, students and even the people who are residing outside the country. He took up the responsibility of transporting migrant labourers to their homes via buses, trains and flights. The ‘Simmba’ actor has now taken up the responsibility of saving the precious lives of 39 children.

Recently, a user tweeted pictures of children who need to reach Delhi for their liver transplant and wrote that due to the unavailability of flights, some of the kids had died. The user tagged Sonu Sood in his tweet requesting him to make arrangements. The ‘reel-life villain’ was quick to respond to the tweet and once again proved that he is a ‘real-life hero’.

The tweet read, “Filipino kids need to reach Delhi for their life saving liver transplant surgeries bec of liver disease, Biliary Atresia.Paediatric liver transplant has to happen asap. FICCI philippines support these kids.With no flights some kids have died. @SonuSood 39 people need to fly.”

Replying to his tweet, Sonu wrote that he will be getting the 39 children back to India in two days. He took an initiative of saving their lives and tweeted, “Let’s save these precious lives. Will get them to India in the next two days. Lining up for these 39 angels. Pack their bags.”



Recently, the humanitarian actor also extended a helping hand to Gorakhpur's 22-year old Pragya Mishra who had sought the actor’s help in getting a crucial knee replacement surgery, which will prevent her from being bedridden for life.
