New Delhi: After creating anticipation with its teaser and poster, the makers of Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Sonchiriya’ have released the film’s trailer on Monday (January 7). The trailer of the Abhishek Chaubey directorial looks promising as it tells the tale of dacoits of the Chambal region during the 1975 emergency in India. The first scene in the trailer gives us a glimpse of the dacoits played by Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey, who are hiding from the police in a house. The main characters of the film can be seen struggling with the fake promises made by the government and casteism.

We also see Bhumi, who is on the run with a little girl, whom she calls her sister. We see her attack a man but she gets captured by another dacoit played by Jatin Sarna.

Ashutosh Rana, who plays a brutal policeman in the film, looks menacing as he takes charge of bringing order in the Chambal valley.
