Sonam's chooda and kalire ceremony was also done yesterday post which the kalira dropping ritual was also followed. Late Sridevi's daughter and Sonam's cousin sister Janhvi Kapoor escaped it taking a sigh of relief when Sonam after tapping it over her head exclaims "Nahi giraa!!!"[VIDEO! The two single ladies who didn't want to yet get married were happy they escaped while the adorable sister of Arjun Kapoor and Sonam's cousin Anshula became the 'victim' of it though!
Here's Anshula announcing with great disappointment that her big sister Sonam's kalira fell on her head.
Sharing a picture from the mehendi ceremony in which Anshula is seen tying the chooda/kalira on Sonam's hands, she wrote "when you tie it super tight but the chuuda falls on you anyway"

And in latest update, the bride-to-be Sonam in her red & golden Anuradha Vakil lehenga is all set for her marriage with Anand Ahuja who too dressed in a tradition attire.. a beige bandhgala and safa.
