The unfortunate death of Sushant Singh Rajput has opened up a book of debates in the film industry. The debate of ‘nepotism’ ignited since then like never before. Netizens have been trolling the star kids almost every other day on social media. The trolling has reached the level where many celebrities had to turn off their comments section or deactivate their accounts. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha was amongst them and recently while speaking to a leading daily, she spoke about her views on ‘nepotism’.

The ‘Dabbang’ actress revealed while speaking to a leading daily that nobody likes to hear abuses about themselves and getting targeted for being born to a certain set of parents. The actress said, “Having said that, my father (Shatrughan Sinha) has never picked up the phone and called any producer to say, ‘Take my daughter in your film’.”

The actress did not take any name but said that she finds it amusing that the person who introduced and sensationalized the word ‘nepotism’ is letting her sister manage her work. The ‘Akira’ actress added, “Has anybody really counted — today there are more outsiders than so called insiders in the industry, who have made it very big and have lots of work, more than people who’re grown up in any film family. Why nobody raises that point? So, there’s a lot of misdirected anger about a lot of things, a herd mentality and people are being ‘bhadkaoed’. One person said something, and the whole world starts attacking star kids without putting any sense into it.”

Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the movie ‘Dabbang 3’ with Salman Khan. She will next be seen starring with Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt.
