The trailer of Rohit Shetty's much-anticipated 'Singham Again' was unveiled today. It introduced new characters played by Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff to the expanding cop universe. Shetty cleverly reinterprets the classic good-versus-evil storyline, weaving in the references from the Ramayana. In this adaptation, Ajay Devgn’s Singham is cast as Lord Rama, Ranveer Singh as Hanuman, and Tiger Shroff as Laxman.

Singham Again trailer


The trailer begins with Ajay Devgn’s character, Bajirao Singham, and Kareena Kapoor’s character, Avni, telling their son about how Lord Ram rescued Goddess Sita. The story then takes a turn when Avni gets kidnapped, leading Bajirao Singham on a quest to find her across the country and in Sri Lanka. Arjun Kapoor plays a ruthless antagonist in the film.



'Singham Again' is the third installment in the highly successful franchise, set to release on November 1. The original Singham, released in 2011, starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in leading roles, followed by Singham Returns in 2014.
