New Delhi: The popular Sinhalese song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ turned out to be a global sensation ever since its release. The singer of this song Yohani became so popular that reportedly she has been receiving many opportunities and offers to sing in movies.
Yohani’s song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ will now have a Bollywood version as Sidharth Malhotra is all set to groove to this song in one of his upcoming movies reportedly. According to a report of SpotboyE, Yohani will be making her Bollywood debut in this Hindi version of ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ which will be featured as an item song in the upcoming movie ‘Thank God’.
‘Thank God’ is an upcoming movie that will feature Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles. The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor will reportedly portray the role of ‘Yamraj’ in this upcoming slice of life comedy film. Written and directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Thank God’ is being produced by T-Series and Maruti International.
The movie will star Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead and Nora Fatehi will be witnessed in a special appearance in ‘Manike Mage Hithe’.
On a related note, Yohani also visited Salman Khan’s show ‘Bigg Boss 15’ during her India tour. She also met and spent time with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who is also of Sri Lankan descent.
Meanwhile, speaking about Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s other upcoming films, the ‘Singham’ actress will be next seen featuring in ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘RRR’, ‘Mayday’, Maidaan’, ‘Drishyam 2’ and ‘Thank God’.
Sidharth Malhotra, on the other hand, will be seen starring in ‘Mission Majnu’ opposite Rashmika Mandanna.
