New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Mission Majnu’ trailer is out. After ‘Shershaah’, Sidharth is back in uniform once again, this time in a very different style. Sidharth plays a spy, R&AW officer  called Amandeep Singh in Pakistan trying to find and hamper Pakistan’s nuclear bomb mission.

The trailer mentions that the story has been inspired by true events. Sidharth looks stylish even as a tailor ( the disguise he takes in Pakistan) and his suave dialogue delivery and cut-throat action is something all Sidharth fans are going to love.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of his love interest who happens to be differently abled. Both Sidharth and Rashmika look great in the film together. The trailer is scored with a song that repeats ‘jis desh mein maati ko maa kete hai’ which is reiterated in the classic and typical anti-Pakistan spy-thriller.

Nevertheless, ‘Mission Majnu’ looks like a different tale with Sidharth and Rashmika headlining the film.

The makers of the film shared the trailer on their official Twitter handle and tweeted, "Jo khud se pehle desh ke baare mein soche, wahi hain #DeshKeLiyeMajnu Aisa hi ek Majnu hai Amandeep Singh jisne India ke sabse khatarnak mission ke liye apni jaan ki baazi laga di 🫡"

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta, 'Mission Majnu' is set before and during the India-Pakistan War of 1971.

‘Mission Majnu’ will stream on Netflix from Jan 20, 2023 onwards.
