After the success of Ayushmann Khurrana & Bhumi Pednekar's 2017 film 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan', which dealt with the subject of erectile dysfunction, the makers announced the film's second part titled 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' today (9th May). As reported earlier, 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' will be a gay love story featuring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.  According to latest reports, the makers have roped in a talented actor to play 'Badhaai Ho' actor's gay partner in second part of 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan'.

Actor Divyendu Sharma, who is best known as 'Liquid' from 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and 'Munna Bhaiya' from 'Mirzapur', will reportedly be seen romancing Ayushmann Khurrana in 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan'.

According to a Peeping Moon report, "Divyendu Sharma who played Akshay Kumar’s brother in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and was last seen as Munna Bhaiya in the Amazon Prime series Mirzapur has been roped in to play a pivotal character. Sharma is expected to portray Ayushmann’s gay partner in the film that goes on floors in September."

However, the actor as well as makers are yet to confirm the same.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who has garnered praise for his roles in films like 'Vicky Donor', 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', 'Andhadhun' among others, is set to prove his versatility with 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan'. The actor has also shared the film's teaser on his social media account today and revealed the film's release date.

Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, the film is scheduled to release on Valentine's Day next year.

On the career front, Ayushmann will next be seen in 'Bala' alongside Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar, 'Dream Girl' opposite Nushrat Bharucha and 'Article 15', where he will be essaying the role of a cop for the first time. Whereas, Divyendu will next be seen in 'Mirzapur 2' and a film titled 'Kanpuriye'.
