"It is a very prestigious award and it matters more than the popular awards because your real work gets recognised on this platform. ' PINK' has been a very important film. Hence, I am happy and even feeling quite responsible and satisfying that finally the film got recognition in National Award."
He further added, "Getting an award for a film on social issues makes us even more responsible. You get a feeling that the issue you tried to tackle with the movie has been fulfilled to some extent. It then gives us immense courage and confidence."
