Nargis Fakhri who just returned to India a couple of days ago came to know about the fraud when her bank (Kotak Mahindra Bank) sent her a notification of a particular transaction worth $9062. The actress has been conned of almost Rs 6 lakh via an online credit card fraud.
As per the reports on India Today, '' The money was siphoned off in a period of four and a half hours via 14 transactions amounting to $9062. Fakhri filed a police complaint and recorded her statement late on Tuesday night.''

Meanwhile, a case has been filed under Section 419 (impersonation), 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code, and 66(c) for identity theft and 66(d) for cheating by personation by using a computer of the IT Act. Juhu police are likely to take the help of cyber police for leads in the case.
