New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been hogging all the limelight ever since she compared Mumbai with Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). The ‘Panga’ actress alleged that Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut gave her an open threat and asked her not to return to the Maximum City. Her ‘PoK’ jibe didn’t go down well with several political leaders including Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who said that the ‘Queen’ star has no right to stay in the state.

Kangana’s comments also received flak from the NCP, the Congress, who slammed her for comparing Mumbai with PoK. The ‘Manikarnika’ actress, who is known for being vocal on different issues, announced that she would return to the financial capital on September 9 and dared anyone to stop her. She also added that she would inform everyone when she lands at the Mumbai airport.

The ‘Judgementall Hai Lya’ star also dragged the Palghar Sadhu lynching incident and demanded a CBI probe into the matter. She tweeted, “If you are openly threatening me to lynch me like Palghar Sadhus with stones and rods if I come to Mumbai it’s only because you got away with it you killed innocent people and faced no consequences this has empowered you, we want #CBIForPalghar #CBIForPalgharLynching.”



While Kangana’s remarks are making noise on Twitter, Shiv Sena activists staged protests against the actress in different parts of Maharashtra including Thane, Pune and Nashik. They also burned Kangana’s effigy as a mark of protest.



Kangana strongly reacted to the protests against her and tweeted, "After Sushant and Sadhus murder now beating my posters with chappals for my opinions on administration, it seems Mumbai is addicted to blood."

Kangana’s remarks also drew strong reactions from various quarters, including Bollywood celebs, who expressed their love for Mumbai. On the professional front, the 'Gangster' star has a couple of exciting films in her kitty including 'Thalaivi', 'Tejas' and 'Dhaakad'.
