After extensive promotions, Janhvi Kapoor's debut film 'Dhadak' opposite Ishaan Khatter has finally got released today (20th July). The film has got a decent opening and is getting mixed reviews from critics. Whereas, the films' lead pair -Janhvi & Ishaan are getting appreciated for their performances in 'Dhadak'. Before the film's release, a special screening was organised for Janhvi & Ishaan's families & friends. After which Janhvi's family members including uncle Anil Kapoor & cousin Sonam Kapoor praised her. Whereas, everyone was waiting for the reaction of Ishaan's brother Shahid Kapoor.

Yesterday (19th July), during a Facebook live session, Ishaan finally revealed Shahid's reaction after watching 'Dhadak'. Speaking about the same, Ishaan said that, “My brother saw it last night. He is very happy. He liked us [Ishaan and Janhvi] together. He said ‘You two are really great together,’. It feels weird talking about ourselves,” Ishaan said.

Ishaan also spoke about his mother Neelima Azim's reaction and said, “It is a very big deal for me that my family likes my film. My mother watched the film and told me she liked it much more than she expected. Honestly, after watching Beyond the Clouds, my first film, she was very surprised. With this one [Dhadak], she is just happy. She is gleeful. She is going to watch it for the third time tonight. That means a lot to me.”

Talking about the same, Ishaan's co-star Janhvi made the sweetest revelation and said, “The sweetest message I have gotten was from Anshula didi last night. I think that is the most special thing anyone has ever said to me.”

Speaking about 'Dhadak', the film is getting mixed reviews from the audience too. As we told you that, many are loving the film as well as Janhvi-Ishaan's chemistry, some of them are disappointed too and are comparing it with 'Sairat' for obvious reasons.
