'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' actor Shahid Kapoor & Mira Rajput's baby girl Misha Kapoor will be turning two years old on 26th August this year & the couple will become parents to their second baby in September. The versatile actor, who is currently busy with the promotional activities of 'Batti Gul...' co-starring Shraddha Kapoor & Yami Gautam, will be taking a paternity break after the birth of his second baby. Shahid Kapoor is super-excited for the arrival of his little bundle of joy and has opened up on being a father for the second time.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, Shahid was asked about becoming a father again, he said, "Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling."

On being asked if the responsibility will be doubled, Shahid further told HT that, "I don’t think so. It’s just that you have to do whatever is required [as parents]. In fact, I am nervous because I have Batti Gul’s release coming up in September and the baby is due around the same time. That’s why I have to dedicate my time correctly to both the things and hopefully I will be able to manage it well."

Shahid & Mira announced the pregnancy news in an adorable way with a picture of daughter Misha earlier this year. Ever since then, mommy-to-be Mira Rajput often gets snapped flaunting her baby bump looking adorable.
On the professional front, Shahid's next film 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' will hit the screens on 21st September this year. Whereas, he will soon start shooting for 'Arjun Reddy' remake which will release next year.
