New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor fans brace yourself. The first look poster of 'Bloody Daddy' is here. Shahid Kapoor shared the first look on his official Instagram handle alongwith the announcement of the teaser release. 'Bloody Daddy' is an Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. The poster of 'Bloody Daddy' shows a rather intense action avatar of Shahid Kapoor who looks straight at the viewers in a close-up. 


Shahid has blood stains on the collar of his white shirt. He seems to be wearing a black suit in the poster. There is also an injury mark on his nose. Shahid dropped the poster on his official Instagram handle with the caption, "Teaser dropping BLOODY soon."


Soon after Shahid shared the poster, his comments section was ablaze with fire and heart emojis. A fan wrote, "finally," while another jokingly remarked, "ye to farzi hai." A usr wrote, "John wick from ohio," while another countered and said, "John Wick from Flipkart."


 




Ronit Roy also shared the poster on his official Instagram handle and wrote, "I was so excited while I was shooting for this now even more excited for you guys to view it. Im so proud to have this chance to have associated with some of the finest actors in our industry and One of the greatest directors I’ve worked with. Edgy as hell! No doubt it’ll be one of my finest in my career."


'Bloody Daddy' is said to be the official adaptation of the 2011 French film 'Nuit Blanche'.The original has also been adapted as a Tamil-language film led by Kamal Haasan titled 'Thoonga Vanam' in 2015. The film also marks a first collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and director Ali Abbas Zafar. 


The film will be released on OTT platforms. Earlier in an interview with Pinkvilla, Ali Abbas Zafar said, "We have packed and presented it as a brand-new film. What I am most excited about is the fact that people will see Shahid in an out-and-out action genre for the first time. It’s a cool contemporary action film. It has a very beautiful story, but a commercial pot-boiler.”
