Bollywood’s ‘Badshaah’ Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan has turned a year older on Monday (October 8). SRK and Gauri, who are one of the most loved couples in tinsel town, tied the knot in 1991. While the ‘Zero’ actor continues to build his legacy in Hindi cinema, Gauri has carved a name for herself as a successful interior designer and a film producer. The 48-year-old star wife is the co-owner of Red Chillies Entertainment, a production company founded by King Khan in 2003.


Birthday girl Gauri, in an old interview with designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, revealed that she finds one habit of SRK quite annoying.

“He spoils the kids rotten! It’s because he lost his parents at a very early age and always feels the need to pamper his own because he didn’t get it as much. He wants to give them all the happiness in the world because of which, sometimes he goes overboard which is such a headache for me. All I end up doing is sit on the side and complain, but he doesn’t listen,”  Gauri had told the ace designer duo.



Shah Rukh Khan is doting and protective father to his three kids- Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. The ‘My Name Is Khan’ actor, while talking to a leading, spoke about he becomes a kid when he is around AbRam.

"I try and get him all the toys because somewhere, it’s also a way of living my own dreams. Maybe, even I wanted those toys when I was a kid, but we couldn’t afford it back then. Now, when I play with AbRam, I live those moments which I wanted to, but possibly couldn’t,’’ the ‘Chennai Express’ actor told DNA.



Gauri celebrated her 48th birthday with hubby SRK and her child AbRam and she shared two adorable pictures with the two of them.
