New Delhi: After earning huge box office revenues, Shah Rukh Khan's spy thriller 'Pathaan' turned out to be a boon for Bollywood. The movie ended the slump and brought a sizable crowd to the theatre. The film, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, has now had its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Fans are thrilled that the OTT version includes the deleted sequences as well which were skipped in the theatrical cut.
As soon as the intermission ends, the first deleted scene begins. It shows Pathaan being detained and brutally tortured in the Black Prison. The next scene, which lasts 42 seconds, is when Nandini (Dimple Kapadia) visits him in jail.
The second scene takes place shortly after Pathaan and Rubai (Deepak Padukone) first meet in Paris. Pathaan is seen in the same scene discussing the plot to infiltrate the lab with his coworkers Nandini and Colonel Luthra (Ashutosh Rana).

The intro sequence for 'Pathaan' and the chase scenes in Dubai also have a few frames or shots that were cut. The OTT version of Pathaan also features these fleeting glimpses.
The movie premiered on Amazon Prime Video at midnight on March 22. 'Pathaan' is one of Bollywood's highest-grossing films, which released on January 25. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana are among the stars of the film.
The spy flick has surpassed 'Bahubali 2' to become the highest-grossing hindi movie of all time. 'Baahubali 2' made Rs 510.99 crore while 'Pathaan' made Rs 528.29 crore.
