Recently, Akshay appeared in the movie 'Selfiee' alongside Emraan Hashmi, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty. The actor has just unveiled the poster for his next movie, which will be released in theatres on September 1, 2023.
The poster for Akshay and Radhika Madan's upcoming Hindi version of the Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru', which featured Suriya and Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles, was shared by the actor on his Instagram handle. Akshay has revealed the film's release date, but the title of the movie has not yet been selected. Sharing the poster, he wrote, "We are ready for take off! ✈️
Production No. 27 (Untitled) releases in theatres worldwide on 1st September, 2023."
Speaking about 'Soorarai Pottru', Sudha Kongara, who directed the original version, dons the director's hat once again for the Hindi remake as well. The film was co-produced by Suriya and Oscar winner Guneet Monga.

On the work front, Akshay most recently appeared alongside Emraan Hashmi in the movie 'Selfiee'. Following that, Akshay will appear in 'OMG 2' alongside Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi. He also has 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' with Tiger Shroff, 'Hera Pheri 3' with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, along with other projects. 'Capsule Gill', in which Parineeti Chopra plays a significant role, also features Akshay.
