New Delhi: 'Jawan', the huge hit film starring Shah Rukh Khan, was nominated for an Astra Film and Creative Arts Awards (ASTRA) in 2024. The Hollywood Creative Alliance announced that the action movie, which premiered on September 7, is nominated for a Best International Feature award.


The Hollywood Creative Alliance revealed all of the nominations for the 2024 ASTRA Awards, which included entries from all over the world, on Thursday. On the list, 'Jawan' is joined by 'Barbie', 'Oppenheimer', 'Killer of the Flower Moon', 'John Wick', 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse', and several other box office successes.


Along with Anatomy of a Fall (France), Concrete Utopia (South Korea), Fallen Leaves (Finland), Perfect Days (Japan), Radical (Mexico), Society of the Snow (Spain), The Taste of Things (France), The Teacher's Lounge (Germany), and The Zone of Interest (United Kingdom), Jawan is one of the Indian films nominated for best feature at the ASTRA Awards 2024.






Based in Los Angeles, California, the Hollywood Creative Alliance is a group that reviews motion pictures. Originally called the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society, it was established in 2016 and changed its name to Hollywood Critics Association in 2019. Rebranding its honors as The ASTRA Awards, the organization underwent a second name change in 2023. The winners of the awards will be announced in Los Angeles on February 26, 2024.


'Jawan' starred Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in major roles, with Deepika Padukone making a cameo appearance. Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's production company, produced the Atlee film. 'Jawan' broke multiple records and did phenomenally well at the box office.
