In one clip shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Shah Rukh was seen joking about how the "new generation" shows respect by touching the feet of elders. Rana Daggubati later joined him on stage, embracing Shah Rukh and touching both his and Karan Johar’s feet. Rana humorously remarked, "We are fully South Indian, so this is how we do it," which prompted smiles and hugs from Shah Rukh and Karan.

Who will host IIFA 2024?
Shah Rukh, Karan, Rana, Siddhant, and Abhishek will soon showcase their hosting skills at IIFA 2024 in Abu Dhabi. Abhishek and Siddhant will host IIFA Rocks, while Shah Rukh and Karan will lead the main awards night. Rana is set to host IIFA Utsavam. The event will also feature performances by Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon. The awards will take place from September 27 to 29 at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
During the pre-event, Shah Rukh debuted a fresh look, sporting a sleek, short hairstyle. He wore a black T-shirt, flare pants, white sneakers, and a black cap, contrasting his previous appearance where he sported long hair and a beard at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations.
