New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan expressed grief and shock over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The ‘Raabta’ actor committed suicide by hanging himself at his apartment in Mumbai on Sunday morning. SRK offered his condolences to the late actor’s family and penned an emotional post on social media.

The ‘Chennai Express’ actor shared a throwback picture with Sushant on Twitter. “He loved me so much...I will miss him so much. His energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones. This is extremely sad....and so shocking!!,” King Khan wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Deepika Padukone, who has battled depression, stressed on the importance of mental health awareness. “As a person who has had lived experience with mental illness, I cannot stress enough about the importance of reaching out. Talk. Communicate. Express. Seek help. Remember, you are not alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is hope,” Padukone’s social media post read.



Sushant's 'Shudh Desi Romance' co-star Parineeti Chopra shared pictures with the late actor on social media. She tweeted, "Sush, I will miss you buds."



On the work front, Sushant Singh was last seen in Netflix's 'Drive'. His upcoming film 'Dil Bechara' got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
