We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), it's a good auspicious day. On Janmashtami, on Krishnajis birthday we released this film (Jawan). Now New Year and Christmas are around the corner, we will release Dunki. National integration rakhta hoon. Waise bhi jab meri film release hoti hai to Eid hoti hi hai. (I keep National integration. Anyway, when my film is released, it is Eid.) I'm working hard, I'm working harder than I worked in the last 29 years. I will keep working hard because now I'm the happiest when people get happy after watching the film.”

About Jawan’s success
During the press conference, SRK thanked fans for making 'Jawan' a blockbuster and said that the film took four years to be made.

"Very seldom do we get this opportunity that we get to live so many years with a film. 'Jawan' has been with us for four years because of Covid and time constraints. There were so many people involved in this film, especially people from down south who came and shifted to Mumbai for the last four years, working day and night for this film. A lot of people didn't return to their homes. There are many who had their kids here, like director Atlee. The real heroes and heroines of this film are the technicians who worked hard for the last four years," Shah Rukh said.

Shah Rukh Khan was joined by his co-actors Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra among others.  Actor Nayanthara was absent due to her mother's birthday.

Directed by Atlee, the film has so far crossed Rs 400 crore and 700 crore mark at the domestic box office and worldwide respectively.
