Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi took to social media to thank the employee of an airline and a CISF officer for helping her board a flight after she went to the wrong terminal. The ‘Arth’ actress expressed her gratitude towards Indigo’s Assistant Manager and a CISF officer for providing timely assistance after she landed up on the wrong terminal. 


Azmi shared an appreciation post on Twitter to to thank the concerned people and inform her followers about the same.


“Indigo Asst Manager #Chetan and loaders, #CISF officer #Padmini a thousand thanks for your assistance in helping me board the flight in the nick of time after I had foolishly landed up on the wrong terminal,” Shabana wrote on the micro-blogging site. 



The official Twitter handle of Indigo responded to Shabana's post and thanked her for appreciating their employee. "Ma'am, thank you for making our evening extra special with such an amazing appreciation. Let us pass on your kind words to our team members, they'll surely be on cloud nine to receive this from you!," the tweet read.



On the professional front, Shabana will make her digital debut with 'Empire'. The period action drama will premiere on Disney+Hotstar. The first look of the web series has managed to create ripples on social media.


Azmi, while talking to PTI, expressed her excitement on playing a 'Kingmaker' in 'Empire'. She told the news agency, "What intrigued me the most about my character was that she is feisty, educated and she is the kingmaker. You usually see a man being a kingmaker but in her case, she is the one."
