Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi, who accused an alcohol delivery platform of cheating her, revealed that she contacted the owners after her product was not delivered. She took to social media to share a new post and inform her followers that she was conned by fraudsters, who have ‘nothing to do with Living Liquidz’.
The ‘Arth’ actress urged Mumbai Police to initiate stringent action against the fraudsters to stop them from using names of legitimate businesses. She tagged the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police and Cyber Crime in her post.

Shabana traced the owners of the alcohol delivery platform after her followers informed her about online scams. She tweeted, “Finally traced the owners of @living_liquidz & it turns out that the people who cheated me are fraudsters who have nothing to do with Living Liquidz! I urge @mumbaipolice and @cybercrime to take action to stop these crooks from using names of legitimate businesses & scamming us.”
Earlier in the day, Shabana claimed that she was duped by the above mentioned alcohol delivery platform She revealed that she made an online payment but didn't receive the product. "BEWARE I have been cheated by them. #Living Liquidz I paid upfront and when the ordered item didnt turn up they stopped picking up my calls," her tweet read.
Several Twitter users asked her to contact the company and file a complaint in the matter. One user even claimed that the numbers of liquor stores, which are available on Google, are fake most of the times.
On the professional front, Shabana will entertain the audience with her new movie ‘Sheer Qorma’. The upcoming film features Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta in lead roles.
