Actors Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have started shooting for 'Half Girlfriend'. The film's first schedule is being shot in Delhi University's North Campus. Shraddha on Saturday shot for a rain sequence in the St. Stephens College. Arjun who was supposed to be present, cancelled the shoot due to his maternal grand mother's death.
According to a crew member, ''Shraddha and Arjun dono ko shoot karna tha aaj, but Arjun ke ghar mein kisi ki death hogayi hai. So woh nahi aaya hai.” Another crew member said, “Initially they were planning to cancel the shoot for today but then they decided to shoot Shraddha’s part, a rain sequence.''

The rain sequence is a part of the introductory song. Shraddha shot in the middle of the tight security as people wanted to click pics and take selfies with the beauty. The security people said, ''Photo nahi kheech sakte, video nahi le sakte. Film ka look leak ho jaayega,” the security told people.''
Shraddha and Arjun are set to sizzle the silver screen with their fresh pairing. This is not the first time that Arjun will be working in an adaptation. He has also starred in the movie “2 States”, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s book “2 States: The Story of My Marriage”. Earlier the actor revealed how director Mohit Suri’s upcoming film “Half Girlfriend” is an adaptation of the eponymous novel of the same name written by author Chetan Bhagat, says the movie is a drama and not just a “frivolous” romantic comedy.
