As soon as the news of the actor getting diagnosed with the advanced stage (Stage 3) lung cancer came out, his wife along with his two children flew back to Mumbai in a special plane from Dubai. The ‘Agneepath’ actor was horrified with the news of his cancer and his wife immediately returned to him for support. She was stuck in Dubai since March due to lockdown and the growing crisis of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, ABP News has also received information that Sanjay Dutt can go to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in the US for treatment, but the problem is that Sanjay Dutt does not have a US visa as he was amongst the convicted criminals in the Mumbai blasts. In such a situation, the actor is trying to get a visa on medical grounds to the US.
Although there has not been any confirmation from the family yet, ABP News has come to know that the actor might go to Singapore for treatment if it is not allowed in the US owing to the strict rules.
The ‘Bhoomi’ actor’s mother was also treated in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in 1980, but she succumbed to the disease in 1981 in Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Sanjay Dutt’s first wife Richa Sharma also had cancer and breathed her last on 1987 after two years of their marriage.
