Last week, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was admitted to the Lilavati hospital after he complained of breathlessness. On August 10, the actor was discharged from the hospital and soon after, the news of his lung cancer broke out. Fans from all over the world have been praying and wishing for the speedy recovery of the ‘Agneepath’ actor since then. He also took to his social media and announced a small break from work assuring everyone he will be back soon.

A few days back, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor visited the 61-year old actor at his Pali Hill residence. Noted celebrity photographer, Manav Manglani lately took to his Instagram and shared a picture of Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor spending some quality time with his close friend in Mumbai.

His caption read, “#RanbirKapoor #SanjayDutt with his close friend during their recent meet in Mumbai #instadaily #friday #manavmanglani”



Also, as soon as the ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ actor’s wife got the news of his cancer, she immediately flew back to India in a special jet with their two children to support him in this difficult hour. Maanayata Dutt also released a statement assuring that the family will overcome this difficult situation and thanked everyone for their love and support.

Her statement read, “I thank everyone who has expressed their well wishes for Sanju’s speedy recovery. We need all the strength and prayers to overcome this phase. There is a lot that the family has gone through in the past years but I am confident, this too shall pass. However, it is my heartfelt request to Sanju’s fans to not fall prey to speculations and unwarranted rumours, but to just help us with their ongoing love, warmth and support. Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have. Let us use this opportunity to spread light and positivity.”

Speaking on the professional front, Sanjay Dutt’s next ‘Sadak 2’ will hit the digital platform Disney+Hotstar on August 28. He will also be giving voice in a computer-animated Bollywood film ‘Koochie Koochie Hota Hai’ directed by Tarun Mansukhani and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Prana Studios. He will also be seen portraying the character of ‘Adheera’ in ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’.
