Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen in 'Baaghi 3', shared a heart emoji followed by Sameer's name on Twitter.
Swara Bhasker offered condolences to the 'Left Right Left' actor's family on social media. She wrote, "Tragic. condolences and strength to his family."
'Thappad' director Anubhav Sinha said that people should take extra efforts and take to their loved ones amid tough times.

Esha Gupta expressed shock over the demise of Sameer Sharma. She tweeted, "My heart goes out to the family of #SameerSharma, RIP, hope you get peace. Saddened and shocked."
On the professional front, Sameer Sharma was last seen in 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke'. The show stars Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in lead roles.
The producer of "YRHPK', Rajan Shahi, issued a statement and offered his condolence to the actor's family.
"Deeply shocked to know about the untimely demise of Sameer, it is painful and sad news for all of us. My deepest condolences goes to the entire family members and wish God gives them strength in these difficult times. Though I have not interacted with him much, I always found him to be very well- spoken, articulate, kept to himself and was always extremely professional in his approach. Everyone in the unit had good words to speak about him. Today, I visited the sets of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' to speak to all the actors and they were all extremely shocked I understand that from the team that he was excited and happy about resuming shoot of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' in August. So, its an extremely painful news for us, we all are praying for the departed soul and prayers for the family in these difficult times," the statement read.
