Actress Pooja Dadwal, who was once seen in Salman Khan’s 1995 movie Veergati, is currently suffering from tuberculosis and has been admitted to Mumbai’s Shivdi Hospital for the last 15 days.

The actress is facing a financial crunch and has no money to even pay for her medical expenses.
According to a report in Bombay Times, the former actor’s in-laws and husband have abandoned and she is unable to even pay for her medical treatment. Pooja has been trying to contact her former co-star Salman Khan for financial help but hasn’t got through to him as yet.

Speaking to the publication, she said, “I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea.”

Pooja, who appears to have sent a video message to the actor, claims that her financial condition is extremely weak. The report further quotes her as saying that she was a casino manager in Goa before she got diagnosed with tuberculosis. "If Salman Khan sees my video, he might help me. I have been admitted to the hospital for 15 days now. I was the manager at a casino in Goa for several years. I am penniless. I am dependent on others for even a cup of tea," she told Bombay Times.

Sources close to the actress revealed that due to her ill-health, her in-laws and even husband have left her alone to suffer. Pooja’s health has been deteriorating each day due to lack in treatment owing to her financial condition.
