Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to team up with Katrina Kaif for the third installment of ‘Tiger’ franchise. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for the action drama ever since it was revealed that Khan and Kaif would reunite once again. Emraan Hashmi will be seen essaying the role of a villain in ‘Tiger 3’. Considering the box office collection of previous two films, trade pundits are expecting ‘Tiger 3’ to also set the cash registers jingling.
Salman shared a new video on his official Instagram handle, dropping a hint that he will soon start shooting for the upcoming film. He posted a video wherein he can been working out in a gym. The ‘Bharat’ actor, who is known for being a fitness freak, seems to all set for ‘Tiger 3’ as he has started training for the flick.
Khan shared the video from the gym along with the caption, “I think this guy is training for Tiger 3’. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. Gautam Gulati also dropped a heart emoji on the post. Check out the video!
'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai', which starred Salman and Katrina, managed to create ripples at the box office upon release. While Ali Abbas Zafar directed 'Tiger Zinda Hai', Kabir Khan helmed 'Ek Tha Tiger'.
Salman Khan’s Upcoming Films
On the professional front, Salman was last seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The film premiered on ZEEPlex and leading DTH operators on May 13, 2021. Despite receiving scathing reviews, the movie managed to perform well on the OTT platform. It received over 4.2 million views on its first day across different platforms.
‘Radhe’, which was directed by Prabhudeva, also starred Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in lead roles. It was intially slated to hit the silver screens; however, the makers decided to release the film on a leading streaming platform due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Salman has several exciting projects in his kitty including ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ and ‘Antim’. He will also start shooting for ‘Bigg Boss 15’ from October 2021.
