New Delhi: Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ has been making waves ever since the film was announced. The movie co-starring Disha Patani was originally slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2020. However, the action drama couldn’t release on its scheduled date as the cinema halls were close due to COVID-19 pandemic. Speculations were rife that Salman’s ‘Radhe’ will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ at the box office during Diwali 2020.

According to a report in a leading daily, Salman has decided to push the shoot of ‘Radhe’ to October 2020, keeping in mind Coronavirus and monsoons. The ‘Bharat’ actor, who is currently stationed at his Panvel farmhouse, was supposed to go to his Bandra home to make a plan for the shoot of ‘Radhe’ in August.  Bhaijaan decided to delay the shoot for the upcoming film as he felt that filming indoors could be harmful for the cast and crew.

“However, on Sunday, Salman called off the impending schedule after discussing with his team and co-producers Atul Agnihotri, Sohail Khan and Nikhil Namit. He felt that filming indoors could pose a risk to the health of the cast and crew. On the other hand, an outdoor shoot was not feasible in the monsoon. So, he has decided to hold off the stint till October-end, post which the unit will film the remaining portions — including a song — at outdoor locations," a source told Mid-Day.



The report further said that ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ will not arrive in cinema halls on Diwali 2020. The makers are eyeing a 2021 release for the Prabu Deva directorial.

The ‘Dabangg 3’ actor wants to ensure the safety of his team members and has decided to postpone the release date of ‘Radhe’.

“Salman's first priority is the safety of his team members. The makers are now eyeing a 2021 festival release; by then, the theatres will have also reopened," the source told the daily.



‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ is the Hindi remake of South Korean film ‘Veteran’. The movie also stars Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Megha Akash in pivotal roles.

Talking about Salman, the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor also has ‘Kabhie Eid Kabhi Diwali’ in pipeline. He will romance Pooja Hegde in the upcoming project.

Salman will also host ‘Bigg Boss 14’, which is expected to launch on Colors channel later this year.
