On late Saturday night, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had tweeted, appealing his fans to stand in support of Sushant Singh Rajput's fans. Stressing that the 'loss of a loved one is extremely painful', Salman Khan appealed to his fans to support Sushant Singh Rajput's fans and family and not go by "the language and the curses".

And amid a raging social media outrage on nepotism and favouritism, Salman’s ‘request’ tweet didn’t go well with netizens and the Bollywood superstar was massively trolled on the micro-blogging site.

Twitterati lashed out at the ‘Dabangg’ actor saying that ‘he’s only acting’ and brutally trolled Khan demanding justice for Rajput.

And while Salman received a severe back lash, his die-hard fans applauded the actor for his kindness by claiming that they stand by him and hailed the actor for his concerned tweet.

Some of the users also shared a video where Khan is praising Sushant for his acting and dancing skills on the set of Bigg Boss and insisted that Salman had always praised the late actor. The video is now viral on social media, check out below:


The video is two years old from 2018, when, Sushant and Sara Ali Khan visited the set of Bigg Boss to promote their upcoming film 'Kedarnath'. Some fans also shared Salman and Sushant's camaraderie on stage saying that the former has always praised young talent:



Ever since the demise of young and promising actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, several hashtags such as #BoycottSalmanKhan, JusticeForSushantSinghRajput, #BoycottStarKids and #BoycottBollywood began to trend on Twitter. Many people have alleged that the late actor was being discriminated against in the film industry as he was an outsider and not a "star kid" like Salman Khan or Karan Johar.

Sushant Singh Rajput died a week ago on June 14, Sunday.The 34-year-old actor was found hanging at his Bandra residence, he was reportedly suffering from depression.
