New Delhi: With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our country went into a nationwide lockdown for months. This halted many industries including the film industry. However, after the government announced the unlock phase, industries started getting back on their foot. Recently, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan opened up about his experience of working during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ‘Sacred Games’ actor compared the job of an actor to almost being working in a hospital and called it ‘a high-risk profession’. Elaborating his statement, he told The Quint, “You know, actors can’t wear masks and the film set is a very dangerous environment at this time. But most people I have worked with have made really big efforts. People are trying their best, but it’s still dangerous. These are tricky times and I feel actors definitely deserve credit for this. During the lockdown, we quietly sat at home for six months, wasted our lives and lost our time. But now when the government is saying go out and work to support the economy, we are in the frontline again. It’s a high-risk profession, almost like working at a hospital.”
A few days back, the ‘Hum Tum’ actor was also spotted spending some quality time with his son Taimur Ali Khan. The father-son duo was spotted farming in Pataudi. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Saif took out some time from his busy schedule and enjoyed the weekend with his son.
Saif and Kareena are all set to welcome their second child after Taimur. The couple made the official announcement about their pregnancy on Sara Ali Khan’s birthday this year.
On the professional front, the ‘Laal Kaptaan’ actor will be next seen ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, ‘Go Goa Gone 2’, ‘Bhoot Police’. He will also be seen starring in ‘Adipurush’ alongside Prabhas where Saif will be portraying the role of the antagonist.
