New Delhi: Karan Johar's 'Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' did well at the domestic box office during its opening weekend. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie's Sunday take was its largest to date at 19 crore. The family comedy, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, released in theatres worldwide on Friday.


Early estimates show that Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani made Rs 19 crore net in India on its third day, according to Sacnilk.com. The movie made Rs 11.1 crore on the first day of release and Rs 16.05 crore on the second. The movie has already made Rs 46 crore in total revenue and is all set to cross the Rs 50 crore mark on its fourth day, inching towards Rs 100 crore mark.


The makers of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani' shared a video on Monday that gives a glimpse into the making of Karan Johar's typical Bollywood romance drama and all the fun and drama that ensues.
