Sagar Shiyas, a mimicry artist who shot to fame by imitating superstar Rajnikant, died at a private hospital at Chottanikkara around 8.30 am on Thursday. He was 51-year-old and was admitted to hospital ten days ago with kidney-related ailments.



According to reports the Mollywood comedy actor and mimicry artist  died due to kidney failure.

He is survived by wife and three daughters including two daughters, Aaliya and Amaana and son, Ajilm.

Many actors have mourned the death of Sagar  on Facebook.

Sagar Shiyas was serving the mimicry industry from past 25 years.

His notable movie performances were in Manjadikkuru, Bangalore Days, Junior Mandrake and Kannadikadavath.
