New Delhi: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30 after a two-year long battle with leukemia. The ‘Bobby’ actor took his last breathe at HN Reliance hospital in Mumbai. Several Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor mourned his death and offered their condolence on social media.

Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn’t attend his funeral due to COVID-19 lockdown and she posted a heartfelt note for him on social media. She travelled from Delhi to Mumbai via road to support her mother Neetu during the tough times.

Riddhima shared a throwback picture from Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s wedding on her Instagram story. The couple can be seen flaunting their smiles in the photo.

Riddhima posted another photo of Rishi Kapoor and his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor. The mother-son duo can be seen dancing together in the photo. She captioned the picture as, "Reunited with his most favourite person."

Ranbir, Riddhima and Neetu hosted a prayer for the late actor on Sunday. They immersed Rishi Kapoor’s ashes in Banganga’s ghat and performed a puja for the ‘102 Not Out’ actor.

Riddhima's husband Bharat Sahni had also shared a heartwarming post for his father-in-law. He wrote, “I consider myself lucky to have something that makes it difficult to say goodbye. Thank u for the memories.”

Neetu Kapoor had earlier shared a photo of Rishi Kapoor in which he can be seen enjoying a glass of drink. Her caption, "End of our story," left several fans teary-eyed.
