For her D-day, Sonam wore a lotus-motif ensemble by designer Anuradha Vakil and looked every bit the Punjabi bride with her hands adorned by a deep maroon colour of henna, both wrists full of the 'chooda' and 'kaleere'. She wore a statement maatha-patti and Anand Ahuja looked dapper in Raghavendra Rathore creation, a beige sherwani with a beige and cream 'saafa' along with pearl and ruby strings.
Anand and Sonam are now husband & wife. Meanwhile, Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor took to Instagram to express this happy and emotional moment. Posting a picture with bride Sonam, Rhea wrote, “Forever and ever. Sister love is the truest love I know. Me and Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja ????”
