Mumbai: It’s hard to believe that June 14, 2021 will mark one-year death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput. The talented actor, who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Kai Po Che’, left for his heavenly abode at the age of 34. Sushant was a terrific dancer, known for his power-packed performances in different shows and films. His fans still lament that they never got to see him in a full-fledged dance movie.
Sushant Wanted To Do Dance Film With Remo
Remo D’Souza, while talking to Times Of India, revealed that Sushant wanted to do a dance film with him. The director-choreographer said that Rajput asked him to work on a dance-based movie while he visited the sets of ‘Dance Plus’ to promote his film.

Remo Says He Was Surprised When Sushant Didn’t Win Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4’
Sushant Singh Rajput participated in ‘JDJ 4’ and managed to impress the judges and viewers with his mind-boggling performances. He finished as the first runner-up of the dance reality show, which was judged by Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora and Remo D’Souza.
Remo told TOI that he was surprised when SSR lost to Meiyang Chang in the finale of ‘Jhalak 4’. He further said that Sushant owned the stage and excelled in each dance form that he tried.
Remo D’Souza’s Last Conversation With Sushant
The ‘Race 3’ director, while talking to the leading daily, said that he gets goosebumps when he remembers his last conversation with Sushant. D’Souza added that Sushant casually told him to work on a dance film together.
“Sushant had casually told me, ‘Sir, you know I am a good dancer, let’s do a dance film together’,” he told TOI.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment on June 14. The 'Raabta' actor's untimely demise sent shockwaves across the film industry. Several tinsel town celebs expressed grief over his death on social media platforms.

SSR's last film 'Dil Bechara' didn't release in the cinema halls due to the COVID-19 crisis. The romantic drama, which is the Indian adaptation of John Green's novel 'The Fault In Our Stars', premiered on Disney+Hotstar on July 24, 2020. The Mukesh Chhabra directorial marked the Bollywood debut of Sanjana Sanghi.
'Dil Bechara' received a massive response from the audience upon its release on the streaming giant. The film trended for several days on Twitter and Instagram as fans lauded the late actor for his acting prowess.
Three Central agencies including the CBI, the ED and the NCB are investigating Sushant's death case, who created headlines in the second half of 2020.
