Rashmika Mandanna is rightly called the 'national crush' of India. The South Indian actress has now made a name for herself, after Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', in Bollywood. As Rashmika Mandanna will be seen with Vicky Kaushal in the epic period actioner 'Chhaava', the actress penned a long post thanking the director, her journey and Vicky Kaushal for all the support.
Rashmika Pens Note For Chhaava Team
Sharing BTS from the sets of the historical drama ‘Chhaava’, Rashmika wrote that she contacted Laxman Utekar after watching his film ‘Mimi’ and did not know that a chance meeting would turn into her getting a role in the film.
Rashmika added, “A girl from the south playing Maharani Yesubai. That was something I never had on my radar.. never thought it was possible, and that’s why I love working with people who give us the hope to dream beyond boundaries. And then the maharani came in all her glory. She is fierce - she is powerful - she is graceful - she is a true queen..”
Thanking the film’s director, Rashmika called him the "MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IVE EVER MET. I truly feel really blessed to have met you and known you. I don’t speak much because I am too shy to have conversations, but I mean every word. "
The ‘Animal’ actress also thanked Vicky Kaushal, calling him a true star. She wrote for Vicky, “Vicky (@vickykaushal09) - you are a true star man. Foe and all later 🐒🤣 but I truly hope you get everything that you ever wish for cz you fully deserve it and more. Thankyou for holding my hand and making sure I don’t get hurt the whole of the promotion time (I felt super bad that I was slowing you down and making you take care of me but really really thankyou) ❤️ and you were always there when I wanted to do lines and always been honest when I would ask you after the shot- if the shot was ok and if you felt the emotion.. Thankyou. ❤️.”
