Rohit Shetty is currently celebrating the success of 'Singham Again', the third installment of his popular cop universe franchise. The film, featuring an impressive ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, is nearing the Rs 200-crore milestone within just nine days of its release.

The movie strikes a perfect mix of action, drama, comedy, and mythology.

Audiences have been captivated not only by the thrilling Ramayana references and Ajay Devgn's intense action sequences but also by Ranveer Singh’s humorous moments, complete with clever nods to ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, and his and Deepika’s newborn daughter, Dua.

Ranveer Singh hints about daughter Dua in Singham Again

The film includes a touching tribute to baby Dua in its closing scenes.

A poignant scene features Simmba, an orphan, expressing sadness over not having a family. Avni, Bajirao Singham’s wife (played by Kareena), reassures him, saying that he is part of a bigger family that includes all the cops and their loved ones.

This sets up an emotional moment where Simmba smiles and says, “Ab toh parivar bada ho raha hai" (now the family’s getting bigger), while looking at Deepika as the camera zooms in on her—an endearing reference to their real-life pregnancy during filming.

Dua was born on September 8 this year at a Mumbai hospital.

Ranveer Singh's humorous dialogues in Singham Again

Aside from this heartfelt scene, Simmba delivers a series of comedic moments that had audiences in stitches.

One standout scene has Simmba asking Singham, “Khiladi kaha hai?" (Where is Khiladi?), playfully referencing Akshay Kumar.

Another moment of laughter comes when Singham and Avni discuss their aging while talking about their grown-up son, prompting Simmba to quip, “Abhi toh seniors hi gadar macha rahe hai" (right now, it’s the seniors causing all the ruckus), a witty nod to Sunny Deol’s blockbuster success with 'Gadar 2'(2023).

Simmba also reprises his iconic line from 'Sooryavanshi': “Akkhi public ko pata hai kon kon ane wala hai, tereko nehi malum?" (everyone knows who all are coming, don’t you?), which he delivers to the villain, Danger Lanka (played by Arjun Kapoor), during the movie’s climactic showdown as the entire team of cops bands together to take him down.

Ranveer Singh in Singham Again

Ranveer Singh shines throughout, managing to stand out among a roster of Bollywood heavyweights.

From his spectacular entry amidst fireworks and gulal (colorful powder) to his entertaining clashes with Danger Lanka and his playful Marathi dialogues, Ranveer’s Simmba provides a refreshing comic element to the intense action scenes.

His exceptional comic timing and ability to inject humor into serious moments have made many viewers declare him the movie’s highlight, with his ‘not-so-serious’ cop persona adding a perfect balance to the drama of 'Singham Again'.
