New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut managed to impress the critics and fans with her power-packed performance in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Panga’. The ‘Queen’ actress is currently in Manali where she is spending quality time with her family members during the Coronavirus lockdown.  Her sister Rangoli Chandel has treated us with a throwback gem of Kangana from a school Ramayana play. And guess what? The ‘Gangster’ actress directed the play all by herself at the age of 13.


“Ramayana being on air here sharing a picture of Kangana from school Ramayana play, make up costume direction by Kangana, she was hardly 13 years old used to get lot of scolding from papa for dressing up like this but she never cared,” Rangoli tweeted while posting the photo on Twitter.

Kangana can be seen dressed in a red saree while playing the role of Sita.

A fan asked Rangoli if she was the person playing the role of Lord Hanuman. He wrote, “So, behind the Hanumaan ji's mask, I guess it must be you because that is what you are to Kangna I think! Sankat mochak!”

Replying to him, Rangoli said, “Ha ha no no I was much older that’s her friend Parul.”


Rangoli had earlier shared a throwback photo to wish 'Chotu' Kangana on her birthday. “Happy birthday Chotu (on the left side typical summer evening back in the 90’s Papa getting home-work done, we look very calm but deep down even our bone marrow’s trembling,” the caption for the post read.


On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in ‘Thalaivi’. She is playing the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa in her biopic. The ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ actress gained weight and learned Bharatanatyam for her character in the much-awaited film.

Kangana also has 'Tejas' and 'Dhaakad' in her kitty.
