New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor is currently gearing up for his upcoming romantic flick 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The film, directed by hitmaker Luv Ranjan, centres around an outlandish couple and has drawn notice thanks to its upbeat trailer and appealing soundtrack. Ranbir Kapoor has begun the promotions as the movie approaches its release.


The actor thanked his "loves," wife Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha, and said he is missing them as he launched the campaign with a big event in Gurgaon on the occasion of Valentine's Day.


Addressing the audience at the event, Ranbir said, "Happy Valentine's Day to all of you guys. Sabse pehle, I would like to wish my two loves a Happy Valentine's Day - my wife Alia and my beautiful daughter Raha. I love you girls and I miss you."


Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied-the-knot in an intimate wedding ceremony amid close friends and family on the balcony of Ranbir's home, in April, last year. The 'Brahmastra' couple welcomed their first child Raha in November, 2022.


The trailer of 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' begins with Ranbir and Shraddha kissing on the beach while Ranbir's voice plays in the background where he talks about relationships. The film is about the story of a couple that falls in love but eventually, Shraddha who is the Jhoothi Premika wants to opt out of it without taking the blame for it. What ensues between the couple is fun and exciting.






The upcoming romantic comedy is directed by Luv Ranjan, who is known for his movies such as 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'.


'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' brings along Ranbir & Shraddha together for the first time. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. It is all set to have a festive release worldwide in cinemas on Holi, March 8, 2023.


On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The film also stars Anil Kapoor.
