Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most popular and loved actors of this generation. Many people do not know that before starting his career as an actor, Ranbir worked with SLB in the 2005 movie ‘Black’ as an assistant director. Ranbir Kapoor starred in a short film before making his debut in the Hindi film industry as a lead actor. The short film titled ‘Karma’ was also nominated at the Oscars. Ranbir Kapoor starred in this short film while he was studying at the film institute with Abhay Chopra, who is the grandson of filmmaker BR Chopra. This drama is set in the time of the anti-capitalist punishment revolutions and the plot of the story revolves around a father’s dilemma when his own son gets a death sentence.

Ranbir Kapoor can be seen starring in the role of the son in the short film ‘Karma’ and Sharat Saxena can be seen illustrating the role of the father. The duration of ‘Karma’ is around 26 minutes and has been released on the YouTube channel of Bandra Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen starring in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni. He also has ‘Shamshera’, ‘Animal’ and the untitled Luv Ranjan movie in his kitty.
