New Delhi: Director SS Rajamouli is known for bringing larger than life experiences to screens. Known for blockbuster movies like ‘Magadheera’, ‘Baahubali’ and others, SS Rajamouli sure does know how to make the audience swoon with his story.
As SS Rajamouli celebrates his birthday today, actor Ram Charan, who starred in his movie ‘Magadheera’, has penned down a heartfelt note for the director. Sharing a picture with Rajamouli, the ‘RRR’ actor wrote, “I look up to him in many ways & admire the strength he portrays through his simplicity. Happy birthday Rajamouli Garu.”

Rajamouli started his career by directing Telugu soap operas. He directed the TV series ‘Santhi Nivasam’. His first Telugu film was ‘Student No 1’ starring Jr NTR in the lead role back in 2001. Rajamouli then directed ‘Simhadri’, ‘Sye’, ‘Chatrapathi’, and others.
Rajamouli gained recognition with the 2009 fantasy action film ‘Magadheera’, which featured Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The movie received appreciation from both the critics and audience and is considered a cult classic. He then directed the epic action film ‘Baahubali’, which not only swooned over the Telugu audience but also the viewers worldwide.
SS Rajamouli is coming up with his next movie ‘RRR’, which is one of the most-awaited movies of this year. The movie will feature Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, and is a fictional tale based on two legendary Indian revolutionaries and their journey away from home.
‘RRR’ is slated to hit the screens on January 7, 2022.
