Rakhi began with claiming that she was the first discovery of the Superstar Khan whereas this is Sunny's first project with him. She said in an exclusive i/v with Bollywood Now during her film 'Ek Kahani Julie Ki' promotion, "Mai to SRK ki discovery hun...wo to abhi abhi kar rahi hai na.."... "Kitne item song karlegi...nikal jayegi kar ke.. Main toh uska kaam porn filmein karna hi hai....".

Rakhi even went on to raise doubts over Sunny's selection for the film's much awaited item song. Sunny Leone and Shah Rukh Khan will be dancing on the beats of the 1980s popular song ‘Laila O Laila’ from the movie 'Qurbani,' which originally featured the veteran Feroz Khan and Zeenat Aman.
Rakhi went on to say.. “SRK wouldn’t have done it. SRK may be the hero in the film, but he will never do something like this. Someone else must have done it (cast Sunny ). I don’t know. Maybe the producers took some money. Or there must have been some ‘dhandhali’ between the two.”
