New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn and '3 Idiots' actor R. Madhavan will be sharing the screen in the upcoming supernatural thriller film. The yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Vikas Bahl, who directed the National Award winning film 'Queen'.


This will be the first time Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan will be seen sharing screen space. 
 
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the announcement on his official Twitter handle and wrote, “R MADHAVAN JOINS AJAY DEVGN FOR SUPERNATURAL THRILLER… #RMadhavan will share screen space for the first time with #AjayDevgn in #PanoramaStudios’ supernatural thriller, directed by #VikasBahl… The film - not titled yet - will go on floors in June 2023 and will be extensively shot in #Mumbai, #Mussoorie and #London. Produced by #AjayDevgn, #KumarMangatPathak and #AbhishekPathak.”






The film is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floors next month. It will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London.


Taran Adarsh also shared another update about the film and wrote, “AJAY DEVGN - PANORAMA - VIKAS BAHL COLLABORATE FOR A SUPERNATURAL THRILLER… After the #Blockbuster success of #Drishyam2, #AjayDevgn and #PanoramaStudios reunite for a supernatural thriller, which will be directed by #VikasBahl… The film - not titled yet - will go on floors in June 2023 and will be extensively shot in #Mumbai, #Mussoorie and #London. The film will be produced by #AjayDevgn, #KumarMangatPathak and #AbhishekPathak… Currently in pre-production stage.”


 






For the film Ajay, who is also producing the film, has teamed up with 'Drishyam 2' producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The film is being produced under the banner of Ajay Devgn Ffilm and Panorama Studios.


Ajay's last film 'Bholaa' grossed Rs 112 crore worldwide as per trade experts. ‘Bholaa’ was a decent hit and was directed by Ajay Devgn himself. ‘Bholaa’ also happened to reunite Tabu and Ajay Devgn, whose ‘Drishyam 2’ waa blockbuster.


Prior to that 'Drishyam 2' registered a monumental success collecting Rs 345 crore worldwide.


Meanwhile, R Madhavan was last seen in ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, in which he played the role of an ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan.
