New Delhi: The deadly suicide bomber attack on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy in J&K’s Pulwama district has left the people in a state of shock and grief. The attack, which took place on Thursday (February 14), has claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF jawans. Bollywood celebs including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar condemned the attack and expressed their condolences on social media.

Actor Saif Ali Khan, who is in Delhi, visited Amar Jyoti Jawan to pay his tribute to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack. The ‘Sacred Games’ actor expressed his grief and said that he was deeply upset because of the gruesome attack. The ‘Love Aaj Kal’ star was seen in white kurta pyajama and he bowed down infront of the Amar Jyoti Jawans.

Saif issued a statement which read, "On behalf of my family, my thoughts and prayers are with the families of the jawans who have lost their lives serving our country. Deeply upset and saddened by what has happened."

Tinsel town stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Salman have extended financial assistance to the families of the martyred jawans. The cast and crew of ‘Total Dhamaal’ have donated Rs 50 lakh for the army officials.

Salman has reportedly asked the officials at his home banner to get Atif Aslam replaced from ‘Notebook’. The re-recording of the song sung by Atif is expected to take place in a day or not, as per the report in an entertainment portal.
