New Delhi: After causing an uproar by revealing that she left Bollywood due to conflicts with the biggest stars in the business, Priyanka Chopra's most recent interview sparked quite a stir. The actor recently made headlines when she claimed that she had been "pushed into a corner" in Bollywood; however, the actress has now made a shocking accusation against a Bollywood director who she alleges drove her to leave a project after only a few days of filming.

While filming a scene where she was stripping, Priyanka recalled an instance when a director asked to see her underwear. In a conversation with The Zoe Report, Priyanka Chopra recounted her early days in Bollywood and and said, “This may have been 2002 or ’03… I’m undercover, I’m seducing the guy – obviously, that’s what girls do when they’re undercover. But I’m seducing the guy and you have to take off one piece of clothing (at a time). I wanted to layer up. The filmmaker was like, No, I need to see her underwear. Otherwise, why is anybody coming to watch this movie?”

“He didn’t say it to me. He said it to the stylist in front of me. It was such a dehumanizing moment. It was a feeling of, I’m nothing else outside of how I can be used, my art is not important, what I contribute is not important,” she added.

Chopra went on to say that she left the movie after two days.

On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan recently starred in the rom-com movie 'Love Again'. This 2016 English-language adaptation of the German film SMS für Dich, which was based on a novel by Sofie Cramer, is a romantic comedy-drama that was written and directed by James C. Strouse. At the moment, she relishes the success of her series 'Citadel'. She will return to Bollywood with Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
