Priyanka Chopra's brother Siddharth Chopra was all set to marry his fiancée Ishittaa Kumar by the end of April. In fact, the actress came to India to attend her brother’s wedding but returned a few days later after the wedding was reportedly postponed. It was reported earlier that the marriage was postponed as the bride-to-be underwent an emergency surgery.

Ishittaa also took to Instagram to post a picture from the hospital a week ago, stating, "Recovering from surgery. Very painful but glad it's over."

But now speculation is rife that all is not well between the couple and the duo broke up just a few days before their scheduled wedding.


It all started when on Thursday, Ishittaa posted a new picture of herself at a resto-bar with a cryptic caption, "Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings."

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ishita's post hints at her and Siddharth’s possible breakup, the comments of her parents to the post further added to the speculation. Her mother, Nidhi Kumar reacted, “Close old book and write,” whereas her father wrote, “We are with you; Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be.”

The Mumbai Mirror report further states that, pictures from Siddharth and Ishitta's roka ceremony thet took place on February 27 are also missing from Ishittaa's Instagram handle, except for a solo picture. In fact, Ishittaa had deleted all pictures of Siddharth from her Instagram handle that further fuels the rumours of their possible break up.

Another report suggest that, right after returning to US, Priyanka unfollowed Ishittaa on Instagram.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, when Madhu Chopra was asked about Siddharth's wedding by Bombay Times, she said, "We are disappointed but what can you do when a person is unwell? We wish Ishittaa a speedy recovery."

However the Chopra family hasn't officially commented on the report.
