Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai set the silver screen on fire with their amazing chemistry in ''Once Upon A Time In Mumbai''. Both the actors are coming back with ''Azhar'' where Prachi will be essaying the role of Emraan's wife.
Ask Prachi how was it reuniting with Emraan on the big screen and she exclaims, "Why have people taken so long to put us back together on-screen, I think we really compliment each other. It is great we are teaming up together for this kind of a film. It is heartening that Tony (Director) has bought us together. This is one of the best genres for us. We need to do more films together and try more genres."
She added, ''In romantic genre, we are fab! Emrana and I share a great rapport. Our chemistry is fab and we look the best with each other. In fact, I think Emraan looks the best with me. And that is why Azhar and Naureen will be lovable and we will be able to convey the emotions on-screen. It is not one-dimensional and has many layers to it."
While the trailer of Azhar has been getting some great reviews from the audience, Prachi will be playing the role of the cricketer's first wife Naureen. When asked about how it was potraying Naureen on screen, Prachi replied, "I take it as a huge challenge and disadvantage because clearly, I am missing out on the publicity.''
She added, ''Here everyone knows all (Azhar and Sangeeta Bijlani), but nobody knows Naureen and cannot draw parallels to it. She has been there with him in the best phase of Azhar's life and was a constant. It is also a huge challenge because you are putting a face to someone for first time ever. I make it look simple but it is not."
Azhar is Directed by Tony and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures. The film releases on May 13, 2016.
