Model-cum-actress Poonam Pandey is once again hitting the headlines for the wrong reason! Poonam who is quite active on social media and keeps her fans hooked with sultry pics from her bold photoshoots was arrested on Sunday by Mumbai police. She was booked for violating the coronvirus-induced lockdown norms, an official from the police department said.

FIR was registered against Poonam and a friend accompanying her by the Marine Drive Police.

Reportedely, she was found roaming with her friend in her high-end car at Marine Drive without any reason, he said.

“A case has been registered against Ms. Pandey and Sam Ahmad Bombay (46) under sections 269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of a disease dangerous to life) and 188 (Disobedience of order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under provisions of the National Disaster Act,” senior police inspector Mrityunjay Hiremath told PTI.

Besides being an erotic model known, Poonam is also known for her works in Bollywood and Telugu cinema. She began her career as a model and became one of the top nine contestants of the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest and also appeared on the cover page of the fashion magazine.
